Paving the way for the reopening of festivals
Method provided full event production to Tramlines festival, which in 2021 was part of the government’s Event Research Programme. Tramlines, which took place in Sheffield’s Hillsborough Park at the end of July, was the first full-capacity metropolitan festival to go ahead since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, and the only pilot event to be delivered wholly by an independent production company.

A broadening scope on a compressed timeline
Our team was tasked with turning the event around in less than five weeks from the first discussions with DCMS to the festival opening its doors. There were then just 12 days from the announcement of the pilot status to the start of the build. It provided both a unique operational challenge and the opportunity to prove that events on this scale could be held safely while taking Covid regulations into account.
Testimonial
I've had the pleasure of working with Method for several years. You get a real sense that they are working towards the same goals as you, unlike other production companies. It's a rare privilege to be able to pick up the phone to a contractor for an open and honest conversation where you don’t have to be guarded to some degree. They really feel like a real part of our team.

No matter what challenges you face, Method’s detailed approach, preparedness and positive attitude gives me total confidence that they will always find the best solution. I look forward to working with them for many years to come.
