We have enabled a number of our events to significantly increase their capacity in recent years, mitigating the growing pains that often come with rapid expansion. Tramlines started as a grassroots festival spread across multiple venues, which now welcomes over 120,000 attendees to the new site at Hillsborough Park each year, and earned the coveted ‘Best Metropolitan Festival’ award at 2019’s UK Festival Awards.

A more integrated approach with local stakeholders

Demonstrating that you can be both bigger and better, the growth in planning was enabled by gaining the support and trust of local authority agencies and maintaining much closer relationships with local residents, businesses and stakeholders.
